WORLD RICE IN MUNGIA

This year, taking Ramadan into account, we held the World Rices festival a little later than usual. Another change was the venue as in the fourth edition of this event we used the Andra Mari shelter and we can safely say that it is the most suitable place for this event as although the weather was Ok in the morning, in the afternoon it started to drizzle. Being in the centre of Mungia also gave more visibility to the event.

Needless to say, the atmosphere was excellent with workshops for kids in the morning while dancers from Columbia and Peru entertained us in the afternoon. The apellas were also delicious and all the waste was managed better than ever. In fact, next year there might be a good possibility of obtaining the Erronka Garbia certificate for organizing an event using sustainability criteria!
