TRANSITION MOVEMENT MEETING IN VALS, 19-21 January
Last January some members of BBT went to the state meeting of transition groups which was held in Vals (Tarragona) in the permaculture Can Pipirimosca farm.The meeting was very fruitful as it offered the opportunity to know people involved in other transition initiatives and projects and also to get to know what the transition network is and the people who are active in it.
Apart from the workshops that were carried out with the help of a facilitator, we had a lovely stay thanks to our host, Pere, who delighted us with his “calçots” (local, traditional organic food) accompanied by a spectacular romesco sauce spread over home-made bread.
Our thanks goes out to the people who organized this get-together, to those who offered us lodgings and cooked for us , to those who put so much energy into it and really to everyone with whom we shared such sincere and open conversations.
Looking forward to a follow-up to this type of meetings!
