San Sylvester: The Botanic Walk in Bakio

As in the last two years on the 31st December we did the Bakio Botanic Walk organized by Lurgaia and Botanika Sestao to see the effects of climate change on flowers in winter. So, with the help of some beautiful weather we saw more than 50 species in bloom. Seventeen  friends from from BBT and Haria Elkartea set off from the centre of Bakio to go to Eneperi where we finished before going back the same way to a well-earned drink in one of the bars. We will be doing the same walk in spring to see what species of flowers there are in Bakio. So, thanks to everyone who took part and we look forward to seeing you again in the spring.
