OSCAR JARA IN MUNGIA

On 26th September the sociologist, Oscar Jara,  came to Mungia to give a talk on popular education. The talk was organized by Emaus as part of the Bitartean programme that BBT is taking part in.

Although few people turned up Oscar`s words of encouragement were appreciated and he insisted that much of what BBT is doing is a really good example of popular education. Finally, Oscar promised that he would come back to speak to us in BBT and get to know more about what we are doing.

Unfortunately Oscar had a prior engagement in Donostia so he hadn`t time to come to our centre.
