NATURAL CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS AND CHOCOLATE PARTY IN GAMIZ-FIKA

Before Christmas a group of enthusiastic parents from Gamiz-Fika got together to organize activities with and for kids and to liven up the village. The group, Gamiz-Fika Haur Taldea,  wanted to make sure from the start that activities were carried out in line with the criteria of sustainability and responsible consumerism.

So instead of getting carried away with Christmas consumerism they propose that everybody enjoy nature looking for natural objects such as feathers, sticks and pine cones to decorate various trees in Gamiz and Fika. But the highlight was a snowperson made from plastic glasses used for the hot chocolate party organized by the town-hall.

The chocolate was Fair Trade chocolate facilitated by members of the group who are also members of BBT. All in all it was a resounding success!
