Mungia and its Storks, happy ending!

Butroi Bizirik would like to thank Mungia Town-Hall and in particular its Agenda 21 coordinator, Itziar Ateka, for the efforts it has made to solve the problem where the Movistar company has been putting obstacles on its main aerial to stop the storks making their nest. Thanks to the contact that they have maintained with the company an agreement has been reached whereby at the end of the breeding season the company takes away the nest but does not put any obstacles to stop the storks building their nest.

On the other hand. BBT accepts the challenge of producing a short pedagogical guide to explain the lifecycle of the storks in view of the great expectation that the storks` arrival produces very year. BBT is always ready to do what it can to make Mungia and the surrounding area as well as protecting its biodiversity.
