LIBERA PROJECT

Today, 10th December, five of us met up at 11:00am to clean part of Butroi River as part of the Libera Project organized by the SEO in collaboration with Ecoembes. Our intention was to get as far as the Garbigune but we only did 200 metres due to the quantity of rubbish and the difficulty of getting it because of the brambles. We spent a good 40 minutes separating, counting and weighing all the rubbish before taking it to the Garbigune.

If we had done it at the weekend we would surely have had more volunteers and the next time we will make sure that there are more people to help but as you can see by the pictures just a few people can make a difference!
