On Sunday 17th October BBT set up its stand in Gatika`s Ecological Fair. In its first years this fair like the Seed Swapping fair in spring used to be in the main square but unfortunately it is now held in a less central position between the town-hall and the fronton. Despite some initial drizzle the weather gradually improved and luckily it was not necessary to move the fair to the nearby fronton.
It is always good to see and support the local producers and craft workers as well as exchanging information on matters of common concern. The main entertainment was provided by the female rapper La Basu but throughout the morning we were treated to trikitixa music and as for food and drink the organic pizzas were delicious and could be washed down with Boga beer or fresh apple juice from the Lekukoartu group who organize the fair in Arrieta the first Sunday of every month.
