Family of storks in Mungia

This year the neighbours of Berteiz were happy to see that four years after the last time that stork chicks were last born this year four chicks were born, although later two of them died.

We were also happy to see that if there good will things can be achieved. In this case Moviestar had been putting obstacles to stop the storks reproducing so we had to collect signatures in protest against that.. Finally, thanks to our pressure and the help of Mungia`s Agenda 21 coordinator we succeeded in getting Moviestar to remove the obstacles. Last year there was no luck but this year it finally happened and hopefully we will continue to see storks being born in Mungia for many a year to come!
