It has now been three months since Sofia passed away in her beloved Columbia leaving behind her loving partner Tino and her lovely daughter Naroa. She is missed by everyone who knew her and we in Butroi Bizirik Trantsizioan also will always miss her. Last week we were able to pay our respects to her in a simple druid ceremony officiated by Aritz and Itziar in the beautiful surroundings of the oak grove beside the San Miguel hermitage in Zumatxaga. In this inspiring landscape we were invited to form a circle and join hands to unite ourselves while both collectively and individually sharing our thoughts and reminiscences of our dear Sofia. Although most of us preferred to keep our thoughts to ourselves Idoia spoke for us all when she spoke of how inspiring Sofia had been for her. The moving ceremony was brought to an end with a planting of trees and the sharing of food and drink from our consumer group for everyone who attended.
