Once again BBT took part in the ecological fair organised every year on the last Saturday of September by Mungia Town-Hall. In the early morning Edu and Jabi were on hand to explain what BBT is about and to sell some of our local products. It was a beautiful sunny morning and our volunteers were more than happy to be given a Chinese garden tent to protect them from the sun,
We know that due to Covid there were no workshops and the area taken by the fair was smaller than usual, However, in BBT we have thought for some time that this fair needs a re-think as even before Covid it was in decline. This is something which we would be prepared to help in if offered the opportunity as we feel that this fair should be an important showcase for not only all our local organic producers but for anybody or group that is working locally in the area of sustainability.
