2021 calendar by Karen Amaia
In the last few years in December, Karen Amaia, a well-known photographer from Bilbao, has published her calendar. This year’s theme is local birds, which is on sale at our premises for 5 euros.
Amaia, together with her mother, has also taken part in books 1 and 2 of Wild Flowers of Bizkaia as part of the BBK´s Biscay Themes collection. Nowadays these two books are hard to find in a bookstore, but they can be easily found in any library. In addition to the beautiful photos, they have some very interesting information about the flowers here, and it’s worth a look!
