PLANTATION OF WILLOWS AND ASH TREES ON THE BANKS OF THE BUTROI RIVER

PLANTATION OF WILLOWS AND ASH TREES ON THE BANKS OF THE BUTROI RIVER

On Sunday morning, we arrived at the meeting place, Andra Mari.

Gradually people arrived wearing their masks, keeping a safe distance and looking forward to planting willows and ash trees. We walked off towards Atxurizubi, a wide green area, fortunate enough to have a clear, sunny day. We started planting the trees (cuttings from treesthat were there). It was nice to see so many girls and boys whose natural curiosity and joy made us all feel happy!

It was a small adventure, crossing the bridge and following the path along the river-bank. It wasn`t long before we came acroos the first litter, so we took the opportunity to pick it up, mostly plastic.

After a pleasant and busy morning, we stopped for a bite to eat before finishing the morning a little tired but with the satisfaction of having done our bit.
