SOS GAZTELUGATXE

On 15th November there will be an informative meeting at 20:00 in the Txakolingune in Bakio about local government plans to build an enormous car-park in Eneperi, Bakio to accommodate the ever-increasing traffic to visit San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, now made world-famous due to its appearance in Game of Thrones. However, the area where the car-park is planned is on the edge of an important biotope which has already been badly affected by the massive increase in the number of visitors. Surely at a time when we are looking to reduce our CO2 emissions to fight Climate Change a more sustainable project can be found, one based on an increase in the clearly insufficient public transport service! On Roge Blasco`s programme at 12:00 on Radio Euskadi friends of BBT from the platform against this project will explain in more detail why they are opposed to this project.
