Butterfly Oasis in Mungia

It`s a reality! Mungia has finally got its oasis! The oasis was done near Mungia`s park as part of the Local Agenda 21 during the Green Week. While we didn`t really have that much to do with it, our friend and collaborator Gorka Lopategi designed the oasis which has the shape of a butterfly and has been planted with all sorts of flowers that are beneficial for pollinators. At the end of the afternoon we went along with some kids to give the last touches. The oasis is a gesture to help biodiversity and it`s to be hoped that the town-hall will soon take further measures to protect our pollinators.
