Sacre Urbano 1st Bird Survey 2019

Today three friens (the youngest just 3!!) took part for the third year running in Mungia in the Sacre Urbano bird survey organized by SEO. Although it was quite cold the rain held off and we were able to do the survey. The best places were the parks but everywhere birds were making nests. Like last year a couple of Great Tits continue to make their nest in a hole in the wall near San Pedro school. But this year they have to go somewhat further in search of caterpillars because the main part of the oak wood near it has been cut down to make way for a new housing development!! It`s the same old story!!

In June we will do the second part of the survey and hopefully more people will take part.
