FAIR TRADE BALLS
In June the 100 Balasport balls that the Mungia Fair Trade group that we form part of ordered finally arrived. They are really nice balls and are selling like hotcakes. They are size 4 so they are particularly suitable for 10-14 year olds. Apart from these balls, we also have some futsal balls which are also very good. In fact, they are the same balls used in the Scottish Futsal League.
Finally, we also have some Balasport rugby balls which our members can buy but in the future we hope to put the next ones we order on sale in the local shops. We are also hard at work to get our political institutions interested in them. After all, these balls are a great way of explaining to young people what Fair Trade is. As well as that, we have put Basque and Spanish subtitles to a short film on the balls produced by the UK Fair Trade Schools Team so anyone can see it. And remember, “Playing fair, everyone`s a winner!!!”
