Incubator of Projects (CLIPS)
In August las year some members of BBT went to the Lakabe community to take part in an experimental workshop, “Incubator Programme for Learning in Sustainable Communities” (CLIPS in English) together with 5 initiatives from other parts of the state. We shared space, experiences and methodologies with projects from La Rioja, Catalunya, Galicia, Valencia and Andalucia. In an idyllic self-help atmosphere we also enjoyed excellent vegetarian food and the highest standards of hospitality.
CLIPS is a programme which has been developed as a guide for different types of group projects: cooperatives, green businesses and communities in their starting-out phase. It can also be useful for existing initiatives that already exist but which are at a low ebb or those that just need to be revitalized. The aim of CLIPS is to suggest and explain a framework for the development of collective group projects. (It shares specific tools that have been found to be useful in existing community projects and has been tried and tested by community initiatives from nine European countries.)
We also had the opportunity to know concepts like rank and power in the groups and the necessity to make it visible, privileges, group structure, the areas of decision and areas of relation.etc.
We went there convinced of the importance of establishing and renewing the vision of group projects. After carrying out a FODA analysis of our project, we concluded that BBT is in a phase of both consolidation and growth at the same time. We would soon like to go on advancing in this knowledge and group dynamics. As was said in the course: We reaffirm ourselves in the dream and desire to be more groups and projects.people working together to recreate the way we live.
